A leading provider of water treatment engineering solutions is looking for an individual to manage the procurement cycle and logistics for their projects. Responsibilities include monitoring equipment delivery, coordinating inspections, and supporting project timelines. Candidates should have a technical degree, experience in procurement, and familiarity with ERP systems. Fluency in English is required for effective communication. This is a full-time role based in Madrid, Spain.

Whitewater Group is headquartered in Bray, Co. Wicklow with a satellite office in Naas, Co. The Group is experiencing significant growth due to its focus on off-site construction methods (OSM) of delivering turnkey projects, meaning on-site construction time is kept to a minimum.
Monitor the full procurement cycle from purchase order issuance to equipment delivery.
Track manufacturing progress, sub-supplier activities, testing (FAT), packing, and shipment readiness.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date expediting reports, delivery forecasts, and supplier performance records.
Ensure all items included in the purchase order meets the technical approved requirements, are delivered on time and according to the agreed INCOTERM, and make sure that supplier sends all technical, quality, logistics and storage documents included in the contract and the supplier’s VDDL.
Serve as the main point of contact between suppliers, engineering, quality, and logistics departments.
Act as a single point speaker to Facilitate resolution of technical or contractual issues impacting delivery or quality.
Help coordinate inspections, FATs, and quality audits when necessary.
Ensure timely collection and submission of supplier documentation : material certificates, test reports, operation manuals, “as-built” drawings, spare parts lists, logistic files, etc.
Help coordinate packaging, transportation, and delivery logistics according to project timelines.
Support logistics teams in planning site deliveries aligned with project installation schedules.
Ensure all equipment is delivered, documentation has been received, test results are satisfactory and issue the release note for transport.
Support Administration and financial teams on matching invoices with parcial / full order deliveries according to agreed payment milestones.
Bachelor’s or Technical Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or related).
Minimum 3 years in expediting, procurement follow-up, or technical purchasing within EPC projects or industrial equipment manufacturing.
Experience in the water, energy, or data center sector preferred.
Strong understanding of procurement workflows, supplier management, and project logistics.
Familiarity with ERP systems and project tracking tools (e.g., SAP, MS Project, Excel).
Basic knowledge of quality control standards (ISO, ASME, CE).
Fluent in English (written and spoken); Capable of working with low level of supervision.
