Euroleague Basketball is seeking an Executive, Sustainability to support the implementation and development of sustainability and social impact initiatives, with a focus on the One Team programme. You will lead club engagement, coordinate cross-functional projects, and shape communications and events to amplify impact.

Join a dynamic team driving sustainability across Europe, coordinating content, partner projects, and season activities while ensuring alignment with league objectives.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 1–2 years of professional experience in sustainability, CSR, social impact programmes, communications, project management, or sports management.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; other European languages are a plus.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Experience in events and cross-functional projects.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of social media management and digital communications.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsabilidades

Your mission

The Executive, Sustainability supports the implementation and development of Euroleague Basketball’s sustainability and social impact initiatives, with a particular focus on the One Team programme.

Key Responsibilities

Team Services

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clubs participating in sustainability and social impact programmes.
• Provide ongoing guidance, support, and operational assistance throughout the season.
• Monitor programme activity and documentation through internal platforms and reporting systems.
• Review, provide feedback on, and approve key club programme documents, including programme plans, needs assessments, and commitment agreements.
• Support clubs in the design, implementation, and development of their programmes, identifying opportunities to enhance impact and align with league-wide initiatives.
• Ensure clubs comply with programme requirements, reporting obligations, and relevant regulations.
• Manage season-end programme reviews, collect required documentation, and oversee programme closure processes.
• Maintain regular communication with clubs to address questions, share best practices, and promote participation in league-wide initiatives.

Partnerships & Project Management

• Support the implementation of sustainability and social impact projects developed with commercial partners.
• Coordinate project planning, timelines, and deliverables with internal departments, clubs, agencies, and external stakeholders.
• Develop project content plans and communication strategies.
• Prepare project updates, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Communications, Content & Social Media

• Contribute to the planning and execution of communication strategies for sustainability and social impact initiatives.
• Support the development of seasonal, monthly, and weekly content plans across digital channels.
• Generate content ideas and storytelling opportunities that increase awareness, engagement, and visibility of sustainability programmes and campaigns.
• Coordinate with external agencies, designers, photographers, videographers, and content providers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality content.
• Coordinate content collection from clubs, partners, ambassadors, and other stakeholders.
• Manage content scheduling and publication across social media platforms.
• Monitor digital trends and identify opportunities to enhance audience engagement and programme visibility.
• Ensure brand consistency and alignment with Euroleague Basketball communication guidelines across all sustainability-related communications.

Website & Editorial Content

• Coordinate the creation and publication of sustainability and social impact articles, stories, and news updates.
• Draft, review, and edit website content in collaboration with clubs, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage content approval processes and ensure timely publication.
• Source and coordinate images and supporting materials for digital publications.
• Promote published content through social media and other communication channels.

Events

• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of key sustainability and social impact events and activations throughout the season.
• Coordinate participating clubs, beneficiaries, ambassadors, volunteers, partners, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
• Manage event logistics, registrations, invitations, participant communications, and operational requirements.
• Support venue selection, catering, technical requirements, speaker coordination, agenda development, and event materials.
• Develop and implement communication, content, and social media plans before, during, and after events.
• Liaise with Communications, Broadcast, Content, and external partners to maximize event visibility and media exposure.
• Coordinate branding elements, merchandise, apparel, signage, and event assets.
• Prepare participant briefings, presentations, and operational documentation.
• Collect and organize programme data, event materials, and reporting information.
• Coordinate with external agencies, consultants, photographers, videographers, and production teams to support event delivery.
• Monitor event implementation standards and ensure alignment with programme objectives and organizational requirements.
• Support post-event reporting, impact measurement, and evaluation activities.

Your profile

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Business Administration, Sports Management, Communications, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of professional experience in sustainability, CSR, social impact programmes, communications, project management, sports management, or a related field.
