Intracon Marketing Solutions, based in Sant Cugat del Vallés near Barcelona, is seeking an experienced Event Manager to lead international corporate events end to end for a major technology client.

The role requires 3+ years agency or consulting experience, strong English and Spanish, and the ability to travel internationally. It offers a flexible hybrid work model and a temporary project assignment.

• 3+ years of event management experience in agencies or consulting.
• Strong communication in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Ability to lead multiple events across EMEA and manage budgets.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of assigned events from planning to post-event review.
• Identify and onboard sustainable suppliers for event needs.
• Serve as main client contact with clear communication and relationship management.
• Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth delivery.
• Oversee budgets, reporting and performance tracking.
• Prepare documentation, timelines and operational plans for each event.
• Lead onsite delivery for events across EMEA.
• Maintain regular client communications through meetings and updates.
• Propose innovative ideas to enhance experiences.
• Collaborate with the international Project Team and Events Team.

We're looking for an Event Manager to join one of our international projects with a leading technology client. Someone with real agency or consulting experience who can run international corporate events end to end.

About the role:

Dedication: Full-time

Location: Sant Cugat del Vallés (Barcelona)

Project’s Lenght: Temporary

Work model: Flexible, combining f2f work with teleworking

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the complete lifecycle of assigned events, from planning to execution and post-event evaluation
• Identify, evaluate and onboard new (sustainable) suppliers for different event needs
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and strong relationship management
• Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth event delivery
• Oversee event budgets, reporting and performance tracking
• Prepare key documentation, timelines and operational plans for each event
• Lead onsite event delivery for a number of events across EMEA
• Maintain regular client communication (meetings, follow-up calls and reporting)
• Propose innovative ideas and creative solutions to enhance event experiences
• Participate in daily coordination with the international Project Team
• Contribute to weekly planning and alignment meetings with the Events Team

Background & Skills:

• 3+ years of previous experience in event management
• Experience working with project management tools
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (oral and written)
• Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint (knowledge of design tools is a plus)
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Proactive, autonomous and solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to coordinate different stakeholders (clients, suppliers and internal teams
• Creative and innovative mindset to develop engaging event experiences
• Team player with a positive and collaborative attitude
• Willingness to travel internationally to deliver assigned events

This role is probably not for you if:

• Your experience does not comes from an agency or consulting firm and doing corporate B2B Events.
