Job summary

TD SYNNEX is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead the European month-end close, manage GL activities, and drive process improvements. You will collaborate with regional teams and ensure accuracy across financial processes in a hybrid work setup.

Candidates must have a solid accounting background, advanced Excel and SAP experience, and English proficiency. You will mentor junior staff and interact with stakeholders to deliver timely financial insights.

Qualifications

• Solid background in accounting with month-end close experience.
• Advanced Excel skills are required.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Strong English language ability is mandatory.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Proactive mindset with interest in process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end closings for a European region.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses.
• Manage AR, AP, and Inventory accounting.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance across financial processes.
• Attend stakeholder meetings and provide updates.
• Mentor junior accountants within the team.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Work with SAP and Excel to manage financial data.
• Collaborate with wider European accounting teams.
• Maintain high performance during the 5-day closing period.
