We areseeking an experienced, hands on and dynamic European Operations Manager tooversee and optimize our homecare operations across multiple countries inEurope. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Homecare operationsmanagement, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of thehomecare industry. The European Operations Manager will be reporting to Chief Operating Officer,based in Madrid Headquarters.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies: Enhance efficiency and effectiveness of homecare services across Europe, ensuring that all operations adhere to safety protocols and regulatoryrequirements. Set clear, action-oriented goals for each region to achieveoperational excellence.
- Oversee day-to-day operations: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards, witha strong emphasis on maintaining a safe working environment for allemployees and customers (patients, doctors, hospital,…) satisfaction. Implement regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify andmitigate potential hazards.
- Lead and mentor a team of regional managers: Provide guidance and support to achieve operational goals, with a focus onpromoting a culture of safety, continuous improvement and customerssatisfactions.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics: buildEuropean homecare operations dashboard, Identify areas for improvement andimplement corrective actions, with a particular focus on safety-relatedmetrics such as incident rates, compliance with safety protocols andcustomers satisfaction. Develop action plans to address any identifiedissues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Drivecontinuous improvement initiatives and enhance service delivery, ensuringthat safety considerations, operational efficiency and customerssatisfactions are integrated into all aspects of operations. Work closelywith the safety team to develop and implement safety training programsforall employees and with Homecare Business development to sustain growthstrategy
- Manage budgets and resources: Ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality carestandards, with a focus on allocating resources to support safetyinitiatives. Monitor and control expenses related to safety equipment andtraining. Monitor and is warrant of CAPEX expenditure process at Europeanlevel. Ensure continuous resources / CAPEX improvement by identifyinginnovative ways of working, service delivering and innovative tools.
- Foster strong relationships with clients,stakeholders, and partners: Ensure customers(patients, doctors, hospital) satisfaction and business growth, with acommitment to providing safe and reliable homecare services. Communicatesafety policies and procedures to clients and stakeholders to build trustand confidence.
- Stay updated with industry trends and bestpractices: Incorporate them into operational strategies,with a particular focus on emerging safety standards, technologies andcustomers differentiation. Participate in Homecare suppliers evaluation and products portfolio selection. Participate in industry forumsand networks to stay informed about the latest safety developments. Is adriving force to introduce innovative tools and processes (remotemonitoring, telemedicine,…), ensuring continuous improvement.
- Develop best practices sharing between thedifferent countries, ensuring maturity operation development withinEurope for the different services and supporting Homecare businessgrowth strategy.
- Homecare new projects deployment responsible: isin charge of ensuring new homecare projects deployment on the field withPM methodology, in strong collaboration with country operations managers(new geographies, new tools,…
Job requirements
Background:
- Bachelor'sdegree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a relatedfield. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Atleast 7 years of proven experience in operations management, preferably inthe homecare or healthcare services industry.
- Knowledgeof European regulations and standards related to homecare services.
Required Skills:
- Agile,Hands on, Strong leadership and team management skills, with the abilityto motivate and inspire others.
- Excellentanalytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-drivendecision-making.
- Exceptionalcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build andmaintain relationships at all levels.
- Appetitefor medical business and innovative tools / processes (patient monitoring,connected devices,…),
- Customerssatisfaction driven.
- Language requirements: full professional proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of any other European language is a plus.
Others: Availabilityto travel abroad 20-25% of the time.
