Job summary

Opdenergy is seeking an experienced Energy Business Growth Lead to drive growth across existing and new European markets. You will identify and advance opportunities, originate investments, and shape market-entry theses with cross-functional teams.

You will build strategic relationships with developers, utilities and investors, coordinate assessments, and contribute to Opdenergy’s geographic expansion plans across solar, wind and energy storage.

Qualifications

10+ years in business development, strategic growth or investments in renewables.
Proven experience with market-entry strategies and opportunity assessment.
Established network with developers and renewable energy stakeholders in Europe.
Experience in Romania, Greece, the Baltics or SE Europe valued.
Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Identify and assess growth opportunities across existing and new European markets.
Originate investment and development opportunities through networks and direct engagement.
Develop market-entry theses based on regulatory, commercial and project considerations.
Monitor market dynamics and industry trends to identify opportunities.
Build relationships with developers, utilities, investors and advisors.
Lead internal assessments with technical, legal, regulatory and financial teams.
Prepare business cases and strategic recommendations for senior management.
Support commercial discussions and negotiations with partners.
