Freenow by Lyft is seeking a Communications Lead for Europe based in Barcelona. You will shape Lyft's external narrative across multiple markets, lead media engagements, and protect the brand during a period of growth, transformation and AI-driven discovery surfaces.

You will oversee a European communications team, collaborate with policy and executives, partner with agencies, and craft plans for senior leader visibility while ensuring local relevance.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive senior communications experience across multiple markets.
• Experience leading global communications teams and crises management.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; strong cross-cultural communication.

Aufgaben

• Own Lyft's external communications strategy across Europe, driving brand awareness and response across traditional and digital surfaces.
• Partner with communications colleagues to craft pitches, stories and messaging for the region.
• Create and maintain messaging on Lyft’s Europe presence, operations and performance, aligned with the global narrative.
• Collaborate with Executives Communications Manager to plan senior leader visibility and staff interviews/speaking engagements.
• Develop strategies with Public Policy on regulatory issues and positioning in mobility.
• Lead reactive and crisis communications planning for European issues and high-profile challenges.
• Lead Spanish-market consumer and corporate communications and liaise with local media.
• Manage a team of 5 communicators across European markets and coordinate agency support.
• Analyze data to optimize strategies and maximize impact.
