Enverus, a leading energy analytics company, is seeking a mid-level Compliance Associate to join our legal and compliance team, based in Spain or Czechia. This role focuses on GDPR and EU data protection matters, plus emerging AI governance requirements including the EU AI Act.

You will work with cross-border teams to implement policies, respond to DSARs, maintain records, and train staff, helping Enverus navigate evolving regulations while delivering compliant, responsible AI use.

Formación

• 2–3 years of relevant work experience in data protection or privacy.
• Based in Madrid with fluent English, and able to collaborate across EU/US time zones.
• Proven ability to work independently under supervision and manage multiple projects.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with certifications, reporting, and documentation per compliance policies.
• Serve as the GDPR contact for data processing activities.
• Support AI governance program and EU AI Act conformity.
• Respond to DSARs and coordinate with business units.
• Maintain records of compliance approvals for reports and materials.
• Help develop and deliver updated policies and training.
• Monitor internal compliance systems and improve effectiveness.
• Track EU data protection and AI regulation developments.
• Collaborate with legal, security, and business teams on privacy projects.
• Escalate issues to senior Compliance staff.
