Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U. is seeking experienced systems engineers to lead operations for the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC).

You will join the AWS Managed Operations team to build and lead teams delivering high-availability services for EU customers, including EC2, S3, Dynamo, Lambda, and Bedrock. You will collaborate with global AWS teams, drive improvements in availability and performance, and help shape the evolution of AWS services.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related IT discipline or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of scripting (Bash, Python, Ruby) and software development fundamentals.
• Experience with Linux and networking to troubleshoot and optimise systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead operations and development teams delivering high-availability AWS services for EU customers.
• Oversee ESC launch in 2025 and collaborate with global AWS teams.
• Improve day-to-day operations and ensure reliability, latency and performance of ESC.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.
