Overview

Amazons EU 3P Network & Speed team is looking for an enthusiastic customer obsessed Program Manager to deliver improved promise & delivery speeds to our customers; by means of implementing operational excellence in execution & driving transformational network initiatives to ensure shipments transit efficiently throughout our transportation network.

The ideal candidate for this position has a strong background of running cross-functional projects; and is comfortable rolling-up their sleeves to scope plan and implement network initiatives. They have demonstrated the ability to build customized logistics solutions, drive process improvements, standardize procedures and eliminate the root cause of defects within current systems. This job requires strong communication skills while having the ability to work independently in a high pressure and often ambiguous work environment. Passion and drive for customer service is a must.

The scope of this role encompasses the top 15 EU markets.

Key responsibilities

1. Driving KPI analysis, deep-diving root causes, and delivering data-driven continuous improvement actions to ensure optimal speed through the 3P Transportation Network.
2. Planning and implementing network improvements to the 3P Transportation Network to improve customer-perceived speed.
3. Reporting 3P Speed KPIs & project status in numerous forums (WBR / MBR / QBR & strategic planning reviews) in partnership with other central EU Transportation and/or Stores teams.

About the team

The 3P Transportation organization partners with the key third-party delivery service providers across EU to build exciting novel & unique transportation capabilities to better serve our customers while delivering key cost & carbon efficiency.

The 3P Network & Speed team play a pivotal role in driving those partnerships to fruition by designing and implementing the right logistic network to achieve optimal speed perception for customers, striking the right balance between speed investments, asset utilization, cost-to-serve and carbon considerations.

• Bachelors degree
• Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups) at an advanced level and SQL
• Experience in program or project management
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
• Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
• Experience in driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
• Experience leading process improvements
• Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
• Experience building processes, project management and schedules
• Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
