Job Description

Our Real Estate team is looking for a Construction Estimator to support the preparation of cost estimates across a range of construction and real estate projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with Project Management, Cost Management and technical teams to develop accurate and reliable estimates during design, tender and pre-construction phases. This role will support informed commercial decision-making by analysing project information, market data and construction costs across multiple sectors including offices, retail and residential.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare detailed construction cost estimates and cost plans across multiple project stages.
• Analyse drawings, specifications and construction documentation.
• Support key tendering activities, including preparation of pre-tender estimates and commercial evaluations.
• Review contractor and supplier quotations.
• Assist in benchmarking and market cost analysis activities.
• Support procurement and tendering activities, including bid comparisons and commercial evaluations.
• Contribute to value engineering and cost optimisation exercises.
• Maintain estimating databases, pricing information and historical cost data.
• Identify project risks, assumptions and exclusions within estimates.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Cost Management and technical teams to support project delivery.
• Prepare clear estimating reports and supporting documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Architecture, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within construction projects, ideally with on-site/site experience.
• Previous experience in estimating within the real estate sector.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, costs and market pricing.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software/tools.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Fluency in Spanish and professional working proficiency in English.
