Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an EHS Specialist to provide day-to-day support for wind energy sites, facilities, and service operations. You will interpret local and national standards, develop site procedures, and ensure access and safety for employees and contractors.

The role requires 5 years of EHS experience in wind field operations, fluency in English, and travel up to 50%. ISO 45001/14001 familiarity and GWO qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's in EHS or related field with regulatory knowledge.
• Proficiency in EHS risk assessment and audits.
• Fluent English; Spanish and Catalan desirable.
• Experience in wind/energy sector preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001, 14001 and GWO standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day EHS support for sites within the region.
• Interpret laws, regulations and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Develop and train on EHS programs, risk assessments and drills.
• Manage PPE, incident investigations and emergency plans.
• Collaborate with site managers, contractors, and regulators.
