STADA Arzneimittel is seeking a sourcing specialist to manage external contract manufacturers for Specialty and Biosimilar segments. You will steer supplier performance, negotiate terms, and collaborate across functions to sustain supply, drive improvements, and align sourcing strategy in a growing global pharma setting.

You will lead risk management, forecasting collaboration, and strategic supplier engagement while ensuring timely delivery and favorable terms with contract manufacturers.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related fields (manufacturing technology, economics, or technical engineering).
• 3+ years in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical/GMP operations.
• 5+ years handling external suppliers with business analysis experience and understanding of manufacturing cost structures (RPM, OH).
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Spanish, German or other European language is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage external contract manufacturers with ongoing contractual oversight.
• Support initiation and negotiation of supply agreements with contract manufacturers.
• Establish strategic relationships with third-party suppliers and act as primary contact for business collaborations.
• Lead regular Management Business Reviews with senior supplier stakeholders to review performance and identify improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement of the overall business relationship with suppliers.
• Collaborate on forecasting, production planning and supply chain processes to ensure continuity of supply and avoid back-orders.
• Act as primary contact for communications and resolution of supply chain and technical issues.
• Identify supply risks proactively and develop mitigation strategies.
• Lead activities to manage and execute risk mitigation plans.
• Ensure cross-functional coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Review sourcing conditions, challenge costs of goods and identify optimization measures.
• Evaluate, initiate and track product transfers (Site to Site; in-sourcing).

In this role you will manage the performance of external contract manufacturers focused on Specialty and Biosimilar segments, ensuring timely delivery and favorable sourcing terms. You will represent ESO in cross-functional settings to align with STADA’s position and drive continuous improvement in supplier relationships.
