Job summary

Santander CIB in Spain seeks an Equity Derivatives Trader based near Madrid. You will manage market risk on the equity derivatives desk and provide pricing and execution across a range of products for institutional clients.

The role requires at least 4 years in equity derivatives within Global Markets, a quantitative degree, and fluency in English. You'll work with Sales, Structuring, Risk and Quants, leveraging Bloomberg and Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years' experience managing equity derivatives in a trading role within Global Markets.
• University degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or another quantitative discipline.
• English required; Spanish preferred.
• Strong understanding of equity derivatives, pricing and market risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage market risk of the equity derivatives trading book within risk appetite and limits.
• Price and execute equity derivatives transactions for clients.
• Collaborate with Sales, Structuring, Risk, Quants and Global Markets teams for tailored solutions.
• Monitor market developments and hedge effectively; support governance and risk management.
