Sparc FOUNDRY is seeking a Senior Equipment Engineer specializing in MOCVD epitaxy to lead the technical strategy, installation, qualification, and long-term support of MOCVD tools across our fab in Vigo, Spain.

You will ensure equipment readiness for process development and high-volume production, drive reliability and uptime improvements, and collaborate with R&D, suppliers and process engineers to deliver optimal device performance.

Formación

Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
5+ years hands-on experience with MOCVD or other epitaxial equipment in high-tech environments.
Experience with equipment qualification protocols and yield-driven maintenance.

Responsabilidades

Lead installation, site acceptance, and qualification of MOCVD tools across the fab.
Collaborate with epitaxy/process engineers to integrate equipment with process requirements.
Implement preventative maintenance strategies to maximise tool availability.
Manage supplier relationships, spare parts strategies and cost-effective upgrades.
Produce and maintain equipment specs, qualification protocols, and technical reports.
Provide on-site and remote support for tool commissioning and process transfer.
