EDP seeks an Environmental Management Intern to join its Environmental Management unit in Madrid, Spain. You will support reporting, data collection, and data management across multiple systems while contributing to biodiversity metrics and sustainability initiatives.

The role emphasizes data analysis, GIS usage, and Power BI-based reporting, with opportunities to learn about environmental compliance and AI-enabled data solutions.

Formación

• Degree or masters in environment or related field.

Our Environmental Management unit intends to recruit an Environmental Management Intern.

What you will do:

• Support environmental reporting processes and data collection activities.
• Support data consistency, traceability and reconciliation reviews across multiple systems and databases.
• Support the organization, maintenance and continuous improvement of environmental datasets, data models and reporting tools.
• Support the analysis and monitoring of environmental and sustainability performance indicators.
• Assist in the development, calculation and review of biodiversity and nature-related metrics.
• Contribute to environmental and nature-related risk and opportunity assessments.
• Support research, benchmarking and information gathering on biodiversity, environmental compliance, sustainability requirements and emerging environmental topics.
• Collaborate in the maintenance and improvement of dashboards, databases and environmental management tools.
• Support process improvement and digitalization initiatives.
• Contribute to the automation of recurring tasks, reporting activities and information flows.
• Explore and test AI-enabled solutions to improve environmental data management, reporting and analysis.

Knowledge Management & Team Support:

• Prepare summaries, technical reviews and benchmark analyses on environmental and sustainability topics.
• Support the preparation of presentations, reports and working materials for different projects and initiatives.
• Assist in documenting methodologies, procedures, workflows and project outcomes.
• Contribute to communication and awareness activities related to environmental management and sustainability.

What are we looking for:

• Degree or masters' degree in environment or similar
• Knowledge in GIS.
• Knowledge in data analysis and integration tools.
• Knowledge of Power BI will be positively valued.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, hardworking, responsible and with communication skills
• Proficiency in English
