Job summary

Strada, a technology-enabled payroll and HR solutions provider, seeks an entry-level Payroll Associate to join our global team. The role supports payroll delivery for Swedish clients, with Spain remote options and Granada hybrid arrangements.

You will develop English and Swedish communication skills, contribute to client implementations, and help maintain process documentation. Training is provided in a collaborative, flexible environment with health insurance and career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support Managers with client management, ensuring information is accurate and timely.
• Assist with implementations and go-lives.
• Provide daily functional support to payroll teams.
• Maintain the Client Solution workbook.
• Update and enforce Defined Work Instructions and process docs.
• Sign off on System Maintenance Testing.
• Review Statements of Work for client suitability.
• Resolve technical/functional issues escalated by the team.
• Log and document system issues with detail for analysis.
• Collaborate with Ops, Transformation and Products on automation/innovation.
• Upskill the team on upcoming legislation and changes.

Summary: Here lies an opportunity for motivated candidates fluent in Swedish to join a global leader in payroll delivery services and HR technology. You will be given the training, development and skills to launch your career in this space. We are seeking candidates who have excellent communication skills in both English and Swedish (Spanish not required) and an appetite to develop their career in payroll delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the operational teams to ensure they are skilled and knowledgeable in meeting our client(s) deadlines, whilst also working with Management to provide the best service to our clients by delivering their functional and technical expertise to support a selection of clients in Sweden.

Main Responsibilities

• Support Managers with client management, ensuring all information is accurate and provided on time
• Provide support and guidance for all implementations and go-lives
• Provide daily functional support to the teams, to support the successful delivery of payrolls
• Responsible for the maintenance of the Client Solution workbook
• Responsible for the updating, maintaining and enforcing of the Defined Work Instructions (DWIs) and other process documentation
• Ensure and Sign Off System Maintenance Testing
• Support the review of the Statement of Works before its shared with the Client to ensure it's fit for purpose
• Responsible for the resolution of Technical/Functional issues escalated from the team
• Ensuring all system issues/defects are reported correctly and tickets are logged with the necessary detail and evidence so that Application Services and/or Products can investigate
• Working with Operational Management, Transformation and Products to implement automation, innovation and any continuous improvement programmes
• Responsible for the management of the legislation roadmap and ensuring the team are upskilled in upcoming changes and processes are updated where needed
• Ability to recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information
• Support Management with the resolution of client escalations, along with lessons learned
