AWS Infrastructure Services seeks an Installation Technician for its data center campuses in Spain. This entry-level role trains you from day one to install fiber optic and copper cables and connect them to network equipment.

• No prior data center, IT, telecommunications or electrical experience required.
• Complete training is provided from day one to become a fully autonomous technician.
• Technical background in related trades is helpful but not mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, label and route fiber optic and copper cables following detailed work instructions.
• Connect cables to network equipment including patch panels, distribution frames, and switches.
• Execute connection validation tests using internal software tools to confirm correct signal paths.
• Manage cable inventory, monitor stock levels, and maintain organized storage areas.
• Coordinate daily with the team regarding task assignments, progress updates, and blockers.
• Adhere to all safety protocols including mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
