Amazon Data Services Spain, S.L. is seeking a Network Technician to join the Networking team. You will deliver hardware, configure and connect fiber across scaling data center projects and coordinate with internal customers and external vendors under PM guidance.

The role involves collaborating with Network Engineering and Project Management, handling ticket-driven priorities, and troubleshooting network, cabling, and hardware issues with occasional international travel up to 20%.

Formación

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Experience in networking.
• Experience in field relates to Computer Science or Networking.

Responsabilidades

• Working closely with Network Engineering & Network Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast, smooth rollout of established designs and products.
• Managing work priorities through ticketing system and workflows & collaborating with stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and inter connectivity issues, including device configuration and low-level application interaction.
• Troubleshooting cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking for new equipment.
• Completing customer requests via Remedy trouble ticketing system and project management workflows.
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
• You will be required to travel, up to 20% travel outside traditional work area may be required possibly including international travel

We are looking to hire a Network Technician to join our growing team within Networking. Your responsibilities would involve delivering the hardware, configuration and fiber connectivity of interdependent scaling projects across several data center locations. You will work closely with both internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution in association with Technical Program Managers.

Basic Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma
• Experience in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Networking Engineering)
• Experience in networking

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networks
• Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
