Amazon Data Services Spain, S.L.U. in Zaragoza is seeking an entry-level Rack Installation Technician to assemble, install and deploy racks in our data centers. You will join a team, learn quickly, and collaborate across teams while following safety protocols.

The role requires basic qualifications, familiarity with Microsoft Office, and English at A2 level or higher, with ability to lift up to 20 kg and work in varying conditions. Onsite work in Spain’s Zaragoza area is expected.

Formación

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
• English language proficiency, A2 or better.

Responsabilidades

• Rack assembly and installation.
• Cable management and routing.
• Equipment handling and positioning.
• Working in data center environments.
• Following strict quality and safety protocols.
• Work with networking hardware: copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers and server hardware and associated troubleshooting.
• Management of inventory of related materials.
• Ability to travel within geographical work area is required.
• Regularly work at heights and from ladders.
• Work in noisy areas with hotter and colder temperatures than standard office environmental conditions.
• May require working in cramped spaces or elevated locations.
• Ability to lift up to 20kg and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with hand tools and technical assembly preferred.
• Adhere to security and safety best practices in the data center.
• Valid work authorization in Spain.
