Q-tech is seeking an experienced Enterprise & Domain Architect (Vice President) to define the architecture strategy for the Core Business & Operations domain within a leading global asset manager.

You will translate business strategy into a technology vision, define the target state, and establish a roadmap to move from the current landscape to the target. This role requires strong stakeholder management and a track record in finance/risk domains, including cloud and digital transformation.

Formación

• Experience in Enterprise Architecture and/or Domain Architecture within complex tech environments.
• Develop IT strategies, target architectures, roadmaps and transition plans.
• Experience in Finance or Risk domains, preferably in Asset Management.
• TOGAF certification or strong practical experience with the framework.

Join a leading global asset manager and play a strategic role in shaping the evolution of its technology landscape.

The organization is continuously transforming its business and technology environment, with Enterprise Architecture playing a key role in aligning technology capabilities with long-term business objectives. Within this context, the Enterprise & Domain Architect will be responsible for defining the architecture strategy, target architecture and transition roadmap for the Core Business & Operations area.

The role operates at the intersection of business and technology, working closely with senior stakeholders, business leaders, IT teams and other architecture functions. The focus is not only on individual solutions, but on establishing a coherent architectural direction for the domain, assessing the impact of new technologies and ensuring that its evolution remains aligned with enterprise standards, security, governance and regulatory requirements.

This is a Vice President-level position, suited to an experienced Enterprise or Domain Architect with a strong background in Finance, Risk and/or Banking, and a proven track record in technology strategy, architecture transformation and stakeholder management.

About the role

As Enterprise & Domain Architect, you will take ownership of the architectural direction for the Core Business & Operations domain. You will translate business strategy and priorities into a clear technology vision, define the target state and establish the roadmap required to move from the current landscape towards that target.

You will work across business and technology functions, providing architectural guidance on major initiatives and ensuring that individual technology decisions contribute to a consistent and sustainable architecture for the wider organization.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the architecture strategy, target architecture and transition roadmap for the Core Business & Operations domain
• Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives
• Translate business requirements and strategic priorities into architectural direction and technology strategies
• Work closely with business leaders, IT teams and senior stakeholders to understand business needs and shape appropriate technology solutions
• Define and promote architectural standards, principles and guidelines to ensure consistency across the organization
• Assess the impact of new technologies and oversee their integration into the existing technology landscape
• Contribute to digital transformation and technology modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption and emerging technologies
• Identify architectural risks, dependencies and gaps within the domain and define appropriate mitigation strategies
• Ensure that architectural decisions consider security, governance, compliance, scalability and long-term sustainability
• Collaborate with other Enterprise, Domain and Solution Architects to ensure alignment between domain-level and enterprise-level architecture
• Provide architectural leadership and guidance across strategic initiatives and transformation programmes

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in Enterprise Architecture and/or Domain Architecture within complex technology environments
• Strong experience developing IT strategies, target architectures, architecture roadmaps and transition plans
• Experience architecting solutions and defining technology strategies within Finance and/or Risk domains
• Must have previous experience in the Finance or Banking industry
• Experience in Asset Management is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of IT governance, architecture standards and compliance
• Experience with digital transformation and cloud technologies
• Knowledge of AI tools and emerging technologies, with the ability to assess their potential impact and application within an enterprise environment
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate complex architectural concepts to both business and technology audiences
• TOGAF certification or strong practical experience with the framework
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to connect business objectives with technology strategy
• Experience working across multiple teams and functions in large, complex organizations
