Itrustpartnering is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect on a freelance basis to help define and shape the company’s data strategy and architecture. The role focuses on creating a scalable, modern foundation for data, BI and AI across global operations.

You will work at strategic levels to assess the current landscape and decide on technologies, architectures and approaches for the future, with emphasis on Microsoft and cloud data platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Define and shape the enterprise data strategy aligned with business goals.
• Develop a future-proof data architecture supporting data, BI and AI needs.
• Evaluate Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, SAP BDC and related Microsoft data ecosystem.
• Provide architectural guidance around MDM and future-state roadmaps.
• Incorporate AI and emerging data technologies into the Microsoft data ecosystem.
• Act as a data evangelist to promote high-quality, governed data across the business.

Freelance Enterprise Data Architect (Interviews this week)

We're urgently seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to join a global chemical company. The role will focus on defining and shaping the company's future data strategy and architecture, ensuring that the organisation has a scalable, modern and future-proof foundation for data, BI and AI.

You will work at a conceptual and strategic level, assessing the existing data landscape and helping determine the right technologies, architecture and approach for the future.

Start date: ASAP
Duration: Initially 6 months
Location: Primarily remote, with occasional onsite presence in Spain or Switzerland
Utilisation: Full-time

What you can expect

• Define and shape the organisation's enterprise data strategy, aligned with wider business and technology objectives.
• Develop a future-proof data architecture capable of supporting current and future business requirements.
• Evaluate technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) and the wider Microsoft data ecosystem.
• Provide architectural guidance around Master Data Management (MDM) and help establish an appropriate future-state approach.
• Consider how AI and emerging data technologies can be incorporated into the future data architecture, particularly within the Microsoft technology ecosystem.
• Act as a data evangelist, helping the business understand the value of high-quality, accessible and well-governed data.

What you offer

• You have extensive experience as an Enterprise Data Architect, Data Architect or similar senior data architecture role.
• You have successfully designed and implemented enterprise-scale data architectures across multiple technology environments.
• Strong knowledge of one or more of Microsoft Fabric, Azure data technologies, Databricks, Snowflake or SAP Business Data Cloud.
• Understanding of modern Data & BI architectures, including data platforms, data integration, data governance and analytics.
• Assess existing architecture, identify gaps and define a clear future-state architecture and roadmap.
• Ability to communicate complex data and architecture concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in English
