This position represents an excellent opportunity to gain first‑hand insight into the technical and administrative operations of a luxury hotel, supporting the Engineering team in the daily management of the department.

Position Details

• Position: Engineering Department Intern
• Location: Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona
• Duration: 6 months
• Working hours: Full-time
• Modality: On-site

Main Responsibilities

The selected candidate will support the Engineering team in administrative and coordination tasks, participating in the day-to-day activities of the department.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Supporting the administrative management of the Engineering department
• Organizing, updating, and filing technical documentation
• Assisting in the planning and monitoring of maintenance tasks
• Supporting coordination with other hotel departments to facilitate daily operations
• Preparing reports, lists, and follow‑up documentation
• Assisting with supplier management, orders, or related documentation when required
• Collaborating with the team to improve internal processes

Candidate Profile

We are looking for an organized, responsible individual with a positive attitude who is eager to learn in a high‑level professional environment.

Recommended Requirements

• Student of Business Administration or related studies, Engineering, Architecture, or Maintenance
• Internship agreement with a university, school, or training center
• Good command of office tools, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset and willingness to learn
• Good teamwork skills
