Amazon is seeking a Facilities Operations & Maintenance professional to oversee safety-driven operations at a critical facility in Huesca, Spain. You will monitor UPS, switchgear, generators, HVAC and related equipment, perform rounds, record readings, and ensure uptime while meeting SLA targets.

In this role you will supervise contractors, champion safety culture, and coordinate maintenance activities with cross-functional teams to keep critical systems reliable and compliant.

Formación

• High school or equivalent diploma required.
• Experience in operations of critical facilities with electrical, mechanical, and control systems.

Key job responsibilities

SAFETY

Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and diligently encourage a world-class safety culture. As a facility owner team, ensure remediation of safety risks/issues in conjunction with other teams. Own the safety initiatives and projects to foster strong safety culture.

ENGINEERING & FACILITY OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE

Operational experience and familiarity with electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS’s), Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS's), Diesel Generators, Chillers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), and Transformers.

• Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
• Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/log-taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.)
• Supervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance

Physical requirements

• Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with regulations).
• Ability to work shifts (morning, late and night)
• Perform physical tasks during the shift
