Job description

About the role:

You will oversee team members and collaborate with Product Managers and other Engineering Managers across different squads to define project goals, requirements, and technical specifications. Your leadership and technical expertise will be crucial in shaping our engineering projects and helping us achieve our overall objectives.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Lead and develop engineers through clear expectations and continuous feedback.
• Co‑own product outcomes with Product and Design, actively participating in discovery, opportunity shaping, and prioritization.
• Challenge assumptions, propose solutions, and make informed trade-offs between business value, speed, and technical sustainability.
• Own engineering execution from planning through delivery, operation, and post‑launch learning.
• Drive predictable delivery through effective prioritization, dependency management, and transparency around risks.
• Shape technical direction, maintain engineering standards, and contribute to broader engineering improvements.

Your qualifications:

• Experience leading engineering teams in a product company.
• Proven ability to deliver complex products or systems in a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong product mindset with experience contributing to discovery and shaping product decisions.
• Strong technical judgment and ability to engage in architecture and engineering decisions.
• Ability to independently navigate ambiguity, make trade-offs, and take ownership of outcomes.
• Strong people leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Our tech stack:

• Languages: PHP (Symfony), Node.js (TypeScript), Angular (TypeScript).
• Data: PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, scalable data processing, distributed architectures
• Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, containerized environments, cloud‑native services, and modern observability tooling.
• Engineering: Automated testing (unit, integration, and end‑to‑end), CI/CD, code reviews, continuous delivery, and A/B testing.
• AI‑assisted development: Practical experience using LLMs and coding assistants to improve software development workflows, including implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and code quality
