DKB Code Factory GmbH in Valencia is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing software team. You will shape engineering practices, coach engineers, and drive impactful digital solutions in an agile setting.

Responsibilities include delivering reliably, enforcing quality standards, building a strong culture, and guiding a 12-month technical roadmap in collaboration with Product Owners and DevOps. You will also manage hiring and onboarding for rapid productivity.

• Proven experience as an engineering manager or similar leadership role in software development.
• Deep understanding of software delivery processes, testing strategies, and production readiness.
• Strong people management, coaching, and team-building track record.
• Excellent decision-making and prioritization skills in complex delivery environments.

Following qualifications would be in line with our desired profile for this position

• Proven experience as an engineering manager or similar leadership role in software development.
• Strong technical background with ability to review and challenge technical designs.
• Deep understanding of software delivery processes, testing strategies, and production readiness.
• Demonstrated success in people management, coaching, and building high-performing teams.
• Excellent decision-making and prioritization skills in complex delivery environments.
• Experience with Java, Spring, RestAPI, AWS (Kafka, Postgres), GrafanaCloud, and cloud-native development.
• Familiarity with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and SaaS-first approaches.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with a growth mindset.
