Capitole is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead software engineering teams, shaping technical direction and delivery in a matrixed organization. You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and partner with Product, IT, DevOps, and other functions to ensure high-quality outputs.

The role requires strong leadership, cloud/DevOps experience, and a solid SDLC background. English proficiency (B2+) is mandatory, with two days per week from our Barcelona office in a hybrid setup.

Formación

• Experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong background in software product development and SDLC.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) and DevOps.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent stakeholder management and people leadership.
• Professional English (B2+) and willingness to work from Barcelona office two days a week.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and grow software engineering teams and foster high-performing culture.
• Provide technical leadership on architecture and scalable solutions.
• Plan and allocate capacity, manage priorities, risks, and timelines.
• Collaborate with Product, IT, DevOps, Architecture, and business teams.
• Align with senior management, report progress and risks in matrix structure.
• Monitor processes, delivery quality, and adopt Agile/DevOps practices.
• Estimate resource requirements and adjust plans to ensure timely delivery.
