Job summary

Banco Plata, S.A., Institución de Banca Múltiple is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our DWH Data Tools team, owning data tools like Superset, Jupyter Hub, DataHub and internal BI solutions. This role combines technical leadership with people management to plan, optimize development processes, and translate product ideas into robust data-driven solutions.

Relocation to one of our hubs (Cyprus, Serbia, Spain or Georgia) and flexible remote work are available.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience managing engineering teams in fast-paced settings.
• Strong leadership and communication for cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience designing, deploying, and managing data tools.
• Proven ability to navigate shifting priorities and deadlines.
• English proficiency (B1+).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers responsible for DWH data tools.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to translate needs into designs.
• Oversee planning, roadmaps, and development processes.
• Ensure reliability and incident control per SRE practices.
• Architect and develop data tools (Superset, Jupyter Hub, DataHub) and in-house solutions.
