Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe seeks a Finance Controller specialized in engineering project controlling to join the Engineering Controlling Team. You will plan, control and steer the engineering contribution to MRTT projects, acting as a business partner to the Chief Engineering organization through all project life cycles.

Key duties include delivering high-quality reports, ensuring cost adherence to targets, and supporting workload planning with a focus on consistency across cycles

Formación

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Management or equivalent.
• Previous years of experience in Function or Project/Program Controlling.
• Financially aware with high business partnering acumen.
• Experience in engineering environment is an advantage.
• Microsoft Office and Google workspace and tools, esp. Excel, Sheets.
• Spanish and English to negotiation level.
• Strong analytical skills and problem solving approach.
• Proactive and independent working style.
• Critical thinking & ability to constructively challenge the operational business.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent team working skills; willingness to work in a transnational environment.
• Interest for IT topics and automation, knowledge of reporting tools would be a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, control and steer the Engineering contribution to Airbus Derivatives MRTT projects.
• Act as a Business Partner of the Chief Engineering organisation across project life cycles.
• Deliver high quality, timely financial reports and transparent programme reporting.
• Support workload planning, ensure consistency across planning cycles and programme funding.
• Enhance usage of financial tools like CMA, SimpliFi, UP and maintain existing toolsets.
• Develop stronger Business Partnering to Chief Engineers across programmes.
