At iPronics, pioneers in software‑defined photonics and creators of the world’s first programmable optical switch on silicon, we’re looking for a PIC Layout Engineer to join our Photonics Team and play a key role in the design and layout of our next‑generation photonic integrated circuits (PICs).
As a PIC Layout Engineer, you’ll be part of a highly collaborative layout and design team, working at the intersection of photonics, electronics, and systems engineering. Your contributions will directly impact the scalability and performance of our programmable optical architectures.
Proven experience with photonic design and optimization tools.
Strong Python programming skills for automating design and simulation workflows.
Solid understanding of GDS layout generation, PDK usage, and DRC verification flows.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Reliable, proactive, and self‑motivated team player.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality and precision.
