A leading technology company in Madrid is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide onsite and remote service and support for Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) instruments. The role requires troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining system performance and excellent customer service skills. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and experience with electro-mechanical systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills in English are essential.

Formación

  • Proven experience in servicing electro-mechanical systems.
  • Prior experience with medical devices is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Field Service Engineer

to provide both onsite and remote service and support for our customers. In this role, you will troubleshoot and maintain

Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) instruments

, ensuring optimal system performance. You will also collaborate with various teams to enhance service quality and customer experience.

Maintain accurate documentation of service activities.

Coordinate service tasks with site personnel and ensure smooth operation.

Provide technical phone support and assistance to customers.

Assist in resolving technical issues before sequencing system installations.

Train colleagues and partners on NGS sequencing system maintenance and servicing.

Develop and update service instruction documentation.

Recommend design improvements to enhance system reliability, serviceability, and user experience.

Support manufacturing operations as required.

Uphold strict confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information, including personnel matters,legal documents, financial data, contracts, and other proprietary information.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience : Proven experience in servicing electro-mechanical systems; prior experience with medical devices is a plus.

Customer Focus : Outstanding customer service skills with a professional demeanor.

Software Proficiency : Competency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
