A maritime company is seeking an engineer for a temporary position on a 46-meter sailing yacht in Vilanova y Geltrú, Spain. The role involves shaft tube replacement, and maintenance work as part of a winter refit. Candidates should possess Y4 certification, have relevant experience, and be hands-on, non-smoker and sociable. Salary is based on individual experience and qualifications with usual certifications required.

Formación

46 meter sailing yacht is looking for an engineer. Temp position for winter refit, shaft tube replacement and Lloyds 15 year special survey. Boat is currently on hardstanding in Vilanova with crew living ashore. Y4 preferred. European friendly (to avoid stamping on off) passport if possible. Cayman Island flag. 269 GRT. Single Cat c32 main at 969 KW. Salary depends on individual and experience. Usual certs required as follows: STCW, ENG1, driving licence, Y4 if poss. Candidate should be a hands on engineer and must be ready to swing spanners. Should also be non-smoker, clean living, easy going, drama free, sociable drinker, self starter with no food peculiarities. Ready to work within a team of three or four people.
