Elawan Energy, headquartered in Madrid, is seeking a Financial Controller to support the CFO with financial reporting, compliance and business development guidance.

You will manage analytical closes for projects and countries, lead budgeting and forecasting, cash flow preparations, and supervise project accounting while supporting audits.

The role requires a Bachelor's in business/economics, 3 years in financial reporting (Big 4 valued), fluency in English, and proficiency with Excel and SAP FiCo.

Formación

• Required education: Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or related field.
• Required professional experience: 3 years’ experience with financial reporting, preferably in the energy sector or similar. Big 4 experience is highly valued.
• Required knowledge: expert knowledge of planning, controls, and finance.
• Other requirements: English proficiency is a must.

Responsabilidades

• Will be responsible for the analytical closing (balance sheet, profit and loss and deviations) of certain projects and Countries.
• Budgeting and forecasting with daily communication to the specific Countries
• Preparation of cash flows, calculation and accounting of provisions
• Project accounting supervision
• Node control and management
• Support for the development of organisational initiatives and procedures
• Supporting the audit processes of Group companies
