NORTHWEST CONCRETE CONTRACTORS in A Coruña is seeking a skilled ENCOFRADOR to join our on-site team. You will install, assemble, and dismantle formwork for foundations, walls, columns and slabs, read drawings, measure and cut materials, and ensure safety and quality on site.

The ideal candidate has hands-on formwork experience, works well with hand and power tools, and demonstrates reliability, teamwork, and strong communication to meet project deadlines.

Formación

Responsabilidades

Role Description The ENCOFRADOR role is a full-time, on-site position based in A Coruña. In this role, the individual installs, assembles, and dismantles formwork for concrete structures such as foundations, walls, columns, and slabs. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting construction drawings, measuring and cutting materials, building and aligning formwork, and preparing surfaces for concrete pouring. The ENCOFRADOR will collaborate closely with other trades, follow safety procedures, and maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Responsibilities also include checking the quality of completed formwork, supporting concrete placement operations, and cleaning the work area after each phase of construction.

Qualifications

• Experience in formwork installation, including assembling, aligning, and dismantling concrete molds and structures.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and measurements accurately.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in formwork and concrete work.
• Knowledge of construction site safety standards and willingness to follow all safety protocols.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and working at heights or in varied weather conditions.
• Prior experience as an ENCOFRADOR or in concrete construction is strongly preferred.
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and reliability in meeting schedules and project deadlines.
• Valid authorization to work in Spain; vocational training or certifications in construction are an advantage.
