IFF in Barcelona seeks a Regulatory Affairs professional for the EMEA region to help bring innovative food ingredients to market while navigating EU regulations. You will manage regulatory compliance across portfolios, advise internal teams and customers on labeling, approvals, and market access, and prepare dossiers for EFSA and other authorities.

You'll join a collaborative, international team of eight regulatory specialists, with opportunities to influence business decisions and grow

Formación

• Master of Sciences in chemistry, food chemistry, biochemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in regulatory affairs within a multinational food ingredients company.
• Solid understanding of EU food legislation and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with regulatory submissions to EFSA and interactions with authorities.
• Ability to communicate complex regulatory concepts clearly and practically.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage regulatory compliance activities within product portfolios and support regional strategies.
• Provide regulatory guidance to internal stakeholders and customers on labeling, approvals, and market access.
• Prepare and submit regulatory dossiers and interact with EFSA and other authorities.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with EU food legislation and maintain product authorizations in the EMEA region.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate them into actionable business guidance.
• Assess regulatory risks and identify opportunities to support growth and innovation.
• Collaborate with commercial, technical, quality, and marketing teams to support launches and initiatives.
• Lead regulatory projects in collaboration with regional and global colleagues.
