Job summary

Axalta Coating Systems is seeking a Product Stewardship & Regulatory Specialist, EMEA, to support chemical, product safety, environmental and transportation regulations across Europe, Middle East, and Africa. The role collaborates with R&D, commercial, supply chain and manufacturing to ensure lifecycle compliance and market readiness within EMEA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in chemistry or related field.
• Experience in product stewardship/regulatory affairs (3+ years).
• Knowledge of global regulatory drivers for chemicals (REACH, VOC).
• Experience interpreting regulatory requirements for chemical products.
• Experience assigning GHS classifications and SDS/labels.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver results.
• Proficient in MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory environment and implement new legislation in sales areas.
• Audit formulation compliance against country regulations.
• Anticipate regulatory actions impacting the business.
• Assess regulatory conditions for new markets prior to entry.
• Monitor changes in materials classification affecting SDS/labels.
• Contribute to artwork generation ensuring regulatory standards and justified claims.
• Respond to regulatory information requests from authorities.
• Maintain written PSRA procedures and work instructions.
