Schneider Electric in Barcelona, Spain is seeking a Senior Export Control Jurisdiction & Classification expert to serve as the EMEA SME for jurisdiction and export classification.

You will lead cross-functional programs, drive automation and data quality across the product lifecycle, and partner with Engineering, Procurement, Digital, Product Management, Sales and Compliance to deliver compliant classification outcomes for hardware, software and services.

Formación

• 5–10 years of experience in export control jurisdiction and classification.
• Expert knowledge of EU export control regulations, including EU Dual-Use Regulation and related classification methodologies.
• Understanding of UK export controls and other EMEA country-specific requirements.
• Experience classifying hardware, software, encryption items and technology.
• Bachelor’s degree and willingness to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary EMEA subject matter expert and escalation point for jurisdiction and export classification matters.
• Lead EMEA and global J&C initiatives arising from regulatory changes and business transformation efforts.
• Integrate export classification requirements into early product development and R&D lifecycle.
• Support Export Control CoE initiatives, including governance and de minimis assessments.
• Lead regional classification projects with standard PM practices and data governance.
• Partner with Engineering, Procurement, Digital, Product Management, Sales, Compliance and Learning to deliver objectives.
• Communicate impact of regulatory developments to global CoEs and stakeholders.
• Drive automation, data integrity and scalable classification solutions.
