Job summary

Asobbi Ltd seeks a seasoned Head of Procurement, EMEA to own CapEx for data centres and hardware across Europe, while building a robust regional team including UK/Finland leads. You will shape vendor strategy, negotiate major investments, and drive cost efficiency across multiple countries and legal entities.

The role demands 10+ years in procurement/leadership, a European network of vendors, strong logistics knowledge, and Mandarin capability to coordinate with Asian manufacturing partners.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain or commercial leadership within data centres, IT hardware or critical infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ownership of large-scale CapEx portfolios across multiple countries.
• Proven track record of leading major commercial negotiations for long-term and volume-based agreements.
• Established European network of vendors, OEMs and contractors.
• Strong knowledge of international logistics, EU/UK customs, Incoterms and risk management.
• Experience managing procurement across multiple countries and legal entities.
• Ability to build and lead procurement teams in a high-growth environment.
• Mandarin language capability to work with Asian manufacturing operations and ODM/OEM partners.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern the annual CapEx budget for data centres and hardware across EMEA.
• Define and manage the European vendor strategy, procurement frameworks and supplier lists.
• Lead negotiations for major data centre and hardware investments and approve commercial terms.
• Deliver year-on-year cost optimisation across total EMEA expenditure; drive savings through strategic sourcing.
• Lead and grow the EMEA procurement organisation, including UK and Finland teams; recruit the UK Team Lead.
