dormakaba International Holding AG in Madrid is seeking a Firmware Test & HIL Specialist to ensure quality of embedded firmware throughout validation. You will develop and operate HIL systems and dedicated test environments, enabling early defect detection with structured unit and system tests, collaborating with development, production and quality teams.

The role includes designing test benches, executing unit tests for embedded C firmware, and implementing test frameworks.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or higher with relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant working experience required; Master’s with 2–3 years acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Develop test cases and validation procedures.
• Perform component, system, and endurance testing.
• Execute unit tests for embedded C firmware.

Position overview

The Firmware Test & HIL Specialist ensures the quality and reliability of embedded firmware across the full validation lifecycle. The role focuses on developing and operating HIL systems and dedicated test environments. It supports early defect detection through structured unit and system-level testing. Additionally, it enables robust validation processes in close collaboration with development, production, and quality teams.

• Analyze test results and document findings

What we require

• 3 – 5 Years of relevant working experience
• Typical education level Bachelor plus 3-5 years of relevant working experience OR Master degree with 2-3 of working experience
