UAVHE in Barcelona recruits an experienced embedded software engineer to work on control systems for ICE engines and related automotive equipment. You will develop software for microcontrollers, sensor interfaces, and CAN networks, contributing to engine tuning and testing setups.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in embedded mixed-signal development, strong STM32 experience, and fluent English. A background in aerospace or automotive controller hardware is a plus, with ability to read schematics

Formación

• 5+ years of embedded mixed-signal development experience.
• Experience with embedded microcontrollers and STM32.
• Knowledge of I2C, SPI, UART.
• Experience with networking, concurrency, and distributed systems.
• Fluent English.

• Develop embedded software for internal combustion engine microcontrollers: ignition, injection, fuel maps, sensors, CAN buses, etc.
• Develop software for engine tuning and testing: dyno stands, gas analyzers, vibration stands.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science;
• Deep understanding of controller operation specifics in the aerospace / automotive industry;
• Ability to read hardware specifications and schematics;
• Broad technical erudition;
• * A good knowledge of the ICE theory will be an advantage.

Skills & XP

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience developing embedded mixed-signal systems and products for industrial and commercial applications;
• Experience with embedded microcontrollers;
• Several years of practical experience in STM32 development;
• Working knowledge of standard hardware protocols (e.g. I2C, SPI, UART);
• Experience with networking, concurrency, and distributed systems;
• Solid debugging skills;
• Fluent English.
