Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Senior Associate Design Engineer to support the design, development and testing of electronics components and systems. The role covers embedded system development from schematic capture to PCB layout and firmware, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

The successful candidate will participate in NPD teams, develop microcontroller-based PCBs, and prepare detailed technical documentation while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering, CS or related field.
• 1–3 years of electrical design, development and implementation experience.
• Experience with regulatory design (UL, CE, FCC, etc.).
• Proficiency in CAD for Schematic Capture, PCB Layout, Circuit Analysis and Simulation.

Responsabilidades

• Support the design, development, testing and validation of microcontroller-based PCBs.
• Contribute to New Product Development (NPD) teams to specify and integrate electronic components.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, reports and specifications.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, electrical codes and compliance standards.
• Contribute to research initiatives, exploring new technologies and cost optimizations.
• Use problem-solving and basic decision-making within projects.
• Contribute to team objectives and outcomes as guided by leadership.
