Job summary

Nextpower in Valencia, Spain is seeking a firmware developer to join our embedded software team working on TI C2000 based power devices. You will design, implement, test, and maintain firmware for control and monitoring applications, while following QoS processes and contributing to documentation.

Responsibilities include collaborating in Scrum events, performing code reviews in GitLab, and mentoring less experienced team members.

Qualifications

• Engineering or university degree in a science field.
• Fluent English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• 0-3 years of academic experience.
• Experience in C programming with well-structured, documented code.
• Experience with embedded software for microprocessors.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and debug embedded applications for ZGR products.
• Follow QoS processes and code documentation practices.
• Review code merges in GitLab and manage tickets in Redmine.
• Participate in daily scrums and sprint ceremonies.
• Prepare design documents and unit tests.
