Job summary

PAL Robotics, based in Barcelona, is seeking an Electronics Engineer to lead the design of electronics for advanced robotics platforms. You will own system design, motor control, and power board development for battery-powered systems, and mentor junior engineers in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

The role requires hands-on PCB layout, bring-up, testing, and collaboration with mechanical, software, and firmware teams to ensure seamless integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 4+ years in designing motor control systems for BLDC and battery-powered boards.
• Experience with EMI/EMC, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Hands-on board layout, bring-up, and debugging.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronics systems for robotics platforms with a focus on BLDC motor control.
• Lead and mentor a team of Electronics Engineers.
• Oversee manufacturing release and production readiness.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and firmware teams.
• Test, validate, and debug electronic systems to meet specs.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies.
