GMV in Tres Cantos, Spain, is expanding its teams in the space sector and is seeking a specialist to support its hardware design department. This role involves electronic design of GNSS receivers, PCB layout using Altium, and selecting components for various projects.

The ideal candidate will have an electronic engineering background and experience with laboratory equipment. GMV offers a hybrid work model, flexible hours, and a competitive compensation package, along with personalized career development and well-being programs.

Formación

  • Graduates in electronic engineering with knowledge of digital and analogue electronic design.
  • Experience using laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Knowledge of PCB design tools, preferably Altium.

Responsabilidades

  • Design and electronic design of GNSS receivers and associated circuit boards.
  • Conduct commissioning and debugging of electronic circuit boards.
  • Prepare technical documentation and component selection.

Overview

We are expanding our teams in the space sector.

Challenge

The aim of this role is to provide support to the hardware design department on projects involving the development of GNSS receivers and associated electronic equipment. The successful candidate will be involved in the electronic design of circuit boards, the drafting of schematics, the layout and review of PCBs, the selection of components, and the commissioning and validation of prototypes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electronic design of GNSS receivers and similar or associated circuit boards.
  • Design of digital, analogue and radio‑frequency (front‑end) circuits.
  • Design of schematics and layout of printed circuit boards (PCBs) in Altium.
  • Component selection and preparation of technical documentation.
  • Commissioning and debugging of electronic circuit boards.
  • Conducting validation, ATP and ATR tests.
  • Use of laboratory instrumentation for verification and taking measurements.
Qualifications
  • Graduates in electronic engineering with knowledge of digital and analogue electronic design.
  • Knowledge of PCB design tools, preferably Altium.
  • Experience using laboratory equipment: oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, VNAs, power supplies, multimeters, etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
