JMS Crew seeks an ETO/ AV IT Officer for an expedition-style vessel. You will ensure AV systems readiness, provide tech support, and oversee IT networks including Cisco switches, Windows servers, NAS, CCTV, and satellite TV.

The role requires handling challenging situations, coordinating with captains and contractors, maintaining drawings, and offering 24/7 backup readiness. Rotation is 3 months on/3 off, on a private MY vessel, with a salary of USD 7,000.

• Must be able to accept significant challenges and problems as part of regular day-to-day work situations.
• Ensures AV systems are in a constant state of readiness, provides technical support, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Knowledge of operation IT Systems such as Cisco switches, Windows servers, NAS and etc.
• Maintains CCTV, entertainment, and satellite TV systems.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with software installation and system configuration as required.
• Provides project design input to operations based on technology considerations and owner’s preference, including systems analysis, design and specification.
• Leads contractors on designated technology projects as directed by Captain
• Maintains system drawings and documentation.
• 24-hour on-call support as required.
• Ensure all backups are up to date.

• 80m+ Private MY
• B1/B2 Visa & Valid drivers license
• Commercial background is preferred
• Start date October 20th
• Expedition style vessel
• Salary USD $7,000
• Rotation 1:1 (3 months on 3 off)
