Start your engineering career shaping the future of energy
Are you a recent Electrical Engineering graduate ready to apply what you’ve learned in a real-world, high-impact environment? At GE Vernova, this is more than an entry-level role - it's an opportunity to build a strong technical foundation while contributing to the design and validation of key electrical sub-systems used in wind turbine technology.
As an Electrical Engineer, you will join a professional engineering team and support the development of critical components such as cabinets, harnesses, motors, batteries, and turbine-integrated electrical systems. You'll gain hands-on experience working through the full engineering process - from requirements definition and concept development to design release, validation, and continuous improvement.
This role is ideal for someone who is curious, eager to learn, and motivated to grow their career in a collaborative and technically demanding environment.
You'll work alongside experienced engineers, contribute to real projects from day one, and develop practical knowledge in design engineering, DFMEA, risk assessment, requirements management, testing, and product integration.
If you're looking for a place where you can learn fast, take ownership, and start building a long-term career in renewable energy, we'd love to hear from you.
This role is intended for a recent university graduate joining a professional engineering function. The engineer will support the design, validation, and continuous improvement of electrical sub-system components, including cabinets, harnesses, motors, batteries, and related turbine integration.
This role will provide an excellent opportunity to develop a strong foundation in design engineering, learning how to translate customer and product requirements into robust technical solutions.
The individual will work within one of the sub-system groups, either pitch or power conversion, and will gain hands-on experience in design processes, specification development, DFMEA, risk assessment, requirements management, and validation activities.
The focus for an Electrical Engineer is to develop technical capability, learn by doing, and contribute to safe, reliable, and cost-effective engineering solutions.
