Electrical Project Manager:

The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the electrical systems installation and integration for a data center project in Spain.

This role includes managing the electrical yard at ground level for gensets and transformers, ensuring reliable power delivery for the two-phase project.

The position is expected to last 20 months.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design, installation, and testing of electrical systems, including power distribution, backup generators, and transformers.
• Coordinate with CSA and mechanical teams to ensure electrical systems align with building and cooling requirements.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors to deliver electrical components on time and within budget.
• Develop and monitor electrical project schedules, ensuring alignment with the overall project timeline.
• Ensure compliance with Spanish electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for electrical systems.
• Provide technical expertise and regular updates to project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience managing electrical systems in complex projects, ideally in data centers.
• Relevant experience in oil & gas, hospital, or heavy industrial projects will be considered.
• Strong knowledge of power systems, backup generation, and electrical infrastructure for critical facilities.
• Familiarity with local regulations and permitting processes in Spain is a plus.
• Proficiency in project management and electrical design software.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
