Job summary

Nordex Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer Model & Simulation to join our Model Application team. You will perform site-specific adjustments of Nordex simulation models using PSS/E, PSCAD, DIgSILENT and ANATEM to support grid integration studies.

The ideal candidate has a BSc in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years of experience with grid integration and simulation models, and English at B2 level or higher. German or Spanish are a plus. Availability to travel is required.

Qualifications

• BSc in Electrical Engineering or a similar degree.
• Experience with simulation software such as PSS/E, PSCAD, DIgSILENT and ANATEM.
• +3 years of experience with grid integration and simulation models.
• English at least B2; German/Spanish are a plus.
• Willingness to travel.
• Recognition of Spanish degree equivalency for foreign qualifications.

• Internal quality checks on the simulation models of the WT and PPC
• Support the sales department during contractual discussions
• Support NX's clients and their consultants during the connection studies for grid integration
