A renewable energy company in Madrid is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to contribute to large-scale solar and wind project designs. The role involves participating in tendering processes and ensuring project documentation quality. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in renewable energy, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel across Europe. Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Renewable Energy projects mainly from PV and wind farm construction.
• Familiarity with components and technical equipment installed in large-scale onshore wind and solar PV plants.
• Availability to travel around Europe for projects.

Greenvolt is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to contribute directly to the correct design of Greenvolt projects' footprint in Europe. This role involves actively participating in the design supervision and creation of large-scale renewable energy projects, primarily focusing on solar PV and onshore wind systems.

Key accountabilities

• Collaborate in the tendering processes (RFQ / RFP) in technical requirements and design.
• Good understanding of project design drawings and able to participate in discussions with designers (Pre-Executive design and design) and BOP Contractors.
• Support the quality of services and products provided by external suppliers
• Support the definition, preparation and control the documentation to be able to start timely a construction of the renewable energy project
• Under coordination with procurement department, to prepare technical documentation and scope for bidding procedure for external suppliers
• Support scheduling project steps and works to achieve the most efficient, timely and cost-effective construction of photovoltaic or wind farm
• Support the supervision and control that during the design phase the Building Permit requirements are respected.
• Analise the layouts and reports from the resource department and propose possible upgrades.
• Support coordinating internal information flow within Development Team, Legal, Procurement, HSE & Quality
• Support managing and control of technical / Time Schedule / H&S / Quality issues during design process
• Collaborate during construction process and provide solutions to construction design problems appear, in coordination with the BOP company

Qualifications

• Engineering background (preferable Electrical Engineer)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Renewable Energy projects mainly from PV and wind farm (Utility scale) construction
• Familiarity with the components and technical equipment usually installed in large-scale onshore wind, solar PV plants and high voltage lines and substations.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Proactivity, autonomy and strong capability to anticipate and capability solutions
• Availability to travel around Europe, in all areas where projects are.
