Akerlei Idiomas in the Basque Country, Spain, is expanding and seeking qualified English teachers for multiple positions in Ermua and surrounding areas.

Positions include immediate start with in-company classes and morning slots, and after-Easter start with after-school and evening schedules; several full academic year roles (Sept 2026–June 2027) with groups up to 12 students. Applicants should have a university degree and CELTA/TEFL qualifications.

Formación

• Must have at least 1 year of teaching experience.
• Cambridge exam preparation experience is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Teach English to children, teenagers and adults in small groups.
• Attend planning, preparation and meetings per Collective Agreement.

Akerlei Idiomas is a well-established language school located in the Basque Country (north of Spain). We are currently expanding and looking for qualified and committed English teachers for different positions.

We offer:

Requirements:

• University degree
• CELTA or TEFL qualification
• Minimum 1 year teaching experience
• Experience with Cambridge exam preparation (desirable)

Valid work permit for SpainOnly candidates who already hold a valid work permit for Spain will be considered. Applications from candidates without the legal right to work in Spain will not be processed.

Accepted work authorisations include:

• EU / EEA / Swiss citizenship
• Spanish residence and work permit (including TIE)
• Permanent residence permit
• Student visa with legal authorisation to work
• Any other visa that legally allows employment in Spain
